Diving lessons are being offered by the Los Banos Diving Team and will be conducted at the Los Banos Community Pool located in Pacheco Park at the corner of Pacheco Blvd (Hwy 152) and Seventh Street.
Any diver, before they can take their first lesson or practice, must join the AAU. Membership in the AAU provides the athlete with an additional level of insurance while they practice or compete.The fee for membership is only $12/yr and covers the athlete in ANY sport they are involved in. For an additional $2/yr ($14/yr) the insurance coverage is expanded to include travel to and from practice and events. Signing up for membership is easy. It can be done online (just click the AAU logo to go to the AAU membership page). PLEASE bring your membership card to your first practice for verification of membership in tha AAU.

LESSONS - (start diving anytime!)
Group diving lessons
($100 / month (minimum of 2 lessons / week); max. 8 divers / hour)
Divers are expected to show up warmed up and ready to dive at the start of the hour.
Beginning diver = learning approaches, positions, less than one dive per category
Intermediate diver = at least one dive per each dive category
Advanced diver = at least two dives per each category
Tuesdays & Thursdays
5:30pm-6pm - Beginning diving
6pm-7pm - Intermediate diving
Saturdays
9am-12pm All Divers
We are currently negotiating with the Chowchilla School District to aquire time at their pool on Saturdays to allow the Los Banos Diving and Chowchilla Diving teams use of the 3 meter board for training and competition purposes. Notification of when this GREAT opportunity will begin will communicated to active members of Los Banos Diving.
AAU Diving Team members who would like extra practice are encouraged to pracitce daily when there are less than 8 in any lesson being taught. A copy of your AAU current membership card will be required in order to participate.
