2009 MEET RESULTS
There will be no designation for Varsity or Frosh / Soph. Depending on the number of entries there may be at least one cut. There has been some confusion as to what type of event this is.
This is a HIGH SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIP MEET format.
What that means is that it is an 11 dive meet, all from the 1 meter board.
The first 5 dives will consist of 2 voluntary dives with three optional dives. The next three dives will consist of two voluntary dives and one optional dive. The last three dives are one voluntary and two optionals.
Depending on the number of divers, there may be cuts after 3, 5 and 8 dives.
Fees will be collected the day of the event.
THERE WILL BE NO ON DECK REGISTRATION!
This season flying by and time is approaching fast for the AAU California State High School Diving Championships.
We will be utilizing the program EZMeet again to aid in keeping track of scoring and such for this event. Please fill out the entry form and send it to coach@losbanosdiving.org before May 25, 2008. Divers registering after May 25 will be assessed a late fee (see below for amount).
This event will follow the NFHS Championship rules and is an open event for boys and girls on Saturday, May 30, 2009. There will be NO designation for Varsity or Frosh / Soph. Depending on the number of participants, cuts may be made after 5 and 8 dives.
Fees for this event are $20.00 per registered diver. Fees for registered divers will be accepted the day of the event or can be paid prior to if desired. If paying before the event date, please make checks payable to Los Banos Diving AAU and send to the contact information at the bottom of this page.
Divers registering after May 25, 2008 will pay a late fee of $10.00 plus the registration fee of $20.00. Due to the popularity of this event only preregistered participants will be allowed. THERE WILL BE NO REGISTRATIONS ACCEPTED AFTER MAY 28TH.
ALL Divers must be AAU members. If you are not an AAU member you can join at www.aau-sports.org. Please indicate your membership status / number on the entry form.
Divers registering for this event must state their AAU Diving club / team, otherwise you will need to dive "unattached". Please also provide the High School you attend / dive for during your regular high school swimming & diving season as this meet is only for High School aged divers.
Just a reminder that the event is being held at the Tulare Union High School’s Aquatic Center located at 755 East Kern Ave. in Tulare, CA. From North or South Hwy 99 take the HWY 137 exit and go west to Blackstone Ave.; turn south on Blackstone to East Kern and turn west onto East Kern. The facility will be on the right. Parking is along the street or across the street.

The boards will be Friday at 4pm till 8pm for open practice. They will open again for men only on Saturday at 6am the day of the event until 15 minutes prior to the start of the event at 8am. The boards will also be open for girl’s practice following the completion of the boy’s event on Saturday. Girl's competition will begin one hour after the completion of the boy's event.
